Dr. Richard S. Park is assistant professor of theology and ethics at Vanguard University. Prior to coming to Vanguard, Dr. Park was senior lecturer in theology at Biola University and an academic consultant for the John Templeton Foundation. He has published a number of academic pieces on theological ethics, interfaith dialogue, and secularization theory. His latest book is Constructing Civility: The Human Good in Christian and Islamic Political Theologies which is due out in the Fall of 2017 through the University of Notre Dame Press. Dr. Park obtained his D.Phil. in theology from the University of Oxford, and completed two masters degrees (education and philosophy) at Biola University, along with a Bachelor’s in history at the University of California, Berkeley. He is married to his wonderful wife Christine, and resides in Orange County, Calif.
